Explore the Yorkshire Dales

The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a picturesque working landscape populated by enchanting market towns and quaint villages. Whilst a lot of people escape to the region for the countryside, the area is steeped in heritage. Boasting medieval castles, country houses and picture perfect streets.

Skipton Castle

At the top of Skipton High Street stands the impressive twin towers of Skipton Castle. Over 900 years old, the castle withstood a three-year siege during the Civil War and is one of the best-preserved medieval castles in England.

Easingwold

For foodies, we recommend visiting Easingwold as it has become a bit of a food lover’s paradise in recent times. The town is full of local farm shops and charming delis, all serving locally sourced produce. Easingwold is centrally located in Yorkshire, which means that it has links to York and other major cities in the North. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside perfect for country walking.

Scarborough

The perfect place for a weekend getaway, stay in a cosy pub and enjoy a delicious late breakfast, before spending the afternoon exploring the rugged coastal pathways. For those wanting to explore the countryside, head inland to Sneaton Forest to see the Falling Foss Waterfall. Or if you would like to stay by the coast, there is a picturesque 3-mile walk along the beach to Ravenscar, a coastal village, 10 miles north of Scarborough.
