The Charles Bathurst Inn – affectionately known as the CB Inn, is an 18th-century Yorkshire Dales pub surrounded by the magnificent scenery of Arkengarthdale. Hay meadows, heather moorland and hills stretch away from the door, giving walkers, cyclists and anyone craving a proper countryside escape plenty of reason to linger. Inside, open fires, antiques and distinctive Mouseman furniture create the reassuring feel of a traditional Yorkshire inn. There are 19 traditionally decorated en-suite bedrooms to choose from, while the bar and restaurant champion seasonal Yorkshire produce, locally reared ingredients and game from the neighbouring moors.

Food & Drink
Food at the Charles Bathurst Inn is firmly connected to its Yorkshire Dales surroundings. The kitchen describes its style as classical cooking with a modern twist, sourcing locally and seasonally wherever possible. Produce comes from Yorkshire farms, while game is sourced from the surrounding moors, resulting in menus that reflect both the season and the landscape. Breakfast brings a generous start to the day and there is a separate menu for younger diners. Whether you are enjoying a pint in the beer garden or sitting around the fire on a chilly evening, you will have a wide selection of beers, lagers, and wines to choose from.
