The Charles Bathurst Inn – affectionately known as the CB Inn, is an 18th-century Yorkshire Dales pub surrounded by the magnificent scenery of Arkengarthdale. Hay meadows, heather moorland and hills stretch away from the door, giving walkers, cyclists and anyone craving a proper countryside escape plenty of reason to linger. Inside, open fires, antiques and distinctive Mouseman furniture create the reassuring feel of a traditional Yorkshire inn. There are 19 traditionally decorated en-suite bedrooms to choose from, while the bar and restaurant champion seasonal Yorkshire produce, locally reared ingredients and game from the neighbouring moors.

The Charles Bathurst Inn has 19 en-suite bedrooms – 14 doubles and five twins across several rooms types. Each room is furnished in a traditional country style with period furniture, comfortable beds and views across Arkengarthdale and the Yorkshire Dales. Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement as are extra beds for children – additional charges apply.
