The Queens Head is a family-run country pub in Finghall, a peaceful village on the eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Dating to the 1700s and occupying a Grade II listed building, it combines plenty of traditional character with a contemporary refurbishment and lovely views across Lower Wensleydale. Three newly decorated en-suite bedrooms provide a comfortable base between Leyburn and Bedale, with Middleham, Masham and the wider Yorkshire Dales all within easy reach. Finghall Lane station on the heritage Wensleydale Railway is also just a few minutes’ walk away.

Bedrooms

The Queens Head has three comfortable bedrooms, each offering plenty of independence thanks to self-access via a key safe. Choose from a double, king and family suite. Each room is en-suite with tea & coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, Smart TV, and superfast WiFi. Accommodation is sold on a room-only basis, but a continental breakfast basket can be ordered at an additional cost.

Food at the Queens Head is proudly Yorkshire-focused. Menus change regularly with the seasons and are complemented by a changing specials board. An old olive tree stands in the newly refurbished restaurant and diners can also enjoy beautiful views of the valley below.
