Yorkshire is a beautiful and historic county with lots to offer whether you are visiting for a couple of days or a couple of weeks. With the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors the county is a haven for walkers, cyclists and adrenaline junkies. So why not stay in a pub and have the perfect base to explore this glorious county?

Whether its north, east, south or west Yorkshire; there is plenty to keep you busy, even for a long weekend. Try cycling some of the many cycle trails through the Yorkshire dales, or walk them and take in the beautiful scenery as you go. Discover some of the largest expanses of heather in the United Kingdom on the North York Moors. Capture some of the most spectacular views with the pretty colour of the heather fading into the sunset. For something more central, take a trip to York, visit the York Minster and be amazed by the intricate architecture.

A long weekend is the perfect amount of time to explore an area of Yorkshire and pubs and inns here offer guests a range of accommodation that suits a variety of budgets and needs. Pubs today are a great alternative to B&B’s or hotels and have great rooms and all the facilities that you would expect to find in modern hotels.

After a long day exploring the beautiful countryside and rolling hills relax in the comfort of the pub with a pint of one of Yorkshire’s finest ales and a fantastic meal made from the tastiest and freshest local produce. You don’t have a watch you drink as you’re room is just a stone’s throw away!
