Lake District

Queens Head Hotel, Troutbeck

The Swan at Grasmere

Situated in the heart of the Lake District National park, The Swan at Grasmere offers luxurious accommodation against the stunning backdrop of the dramatic fells. Peak District

The Legh Arms, Prestbury

Situated in the historic village of Prestbury and just a short drive to the Peak District National Park, The Legh Arms is a charming, dog-friendly country pub with beautifully decorated interiors.

Each bedroom in the pub has been individually styled and the downstairs bar and dining areas have been wonderfully restored.

The Devonshire Arms at Beeley

The Devonshire Arms is a charming 18th century village inn nestled on the stunning Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire. The pub’s location is its major selling point, with Chatsworth House being only a stone’s throw away. Set against the stunning Derbyshire countryside, guests experience mile after mile of unspoilt tranquillity. Spring is a wonderful time to visit Derbyshire, as the daffodils are blooming, and the wildlife is all the more vibrant, which is why it’s one of our favourite spring break staycation ideas.

New Forest

The Peat Spade Inn, Stockbridge

The Peat Spade Inn is a charming country pub with lovely accommodation in their historic peat house. The pub’s close proximity to the New Forest and the cities of Winchester and Salisbury mean it’s a perfect destination for exploring the South Coast.

High Corner Inn, Ringwood

The High Corner Inn is situated in the New Forest and is close to Paultons Park, Moors Valley Country Park and Forest.  The pub is surrounded by countryside and is a great place to stay for those looking to explore the New Forest. Dartmoor

The Cockhaven Arms, Teignmouth

Tucked away in rural Devon, The Cockhaven Arms is within 20 minutes of the M5 and is close to Torquay, Brixham and Dartmoor National Park. Sitting in the quiet village of Bishopsteignton, at the foot of Haldon Moor, this pub overlooks the lovely Teign Estuary.

Bearslake Inn, Nr Okehampton

Situated in the stunning Dartmoor National Park, Bearslake Inn is a charming thatched pub complete with spacious bedrooms, which look out to the surrounding countryside. The pub’s beer garden has its very own babbling brook, making it a peaceful place to sit with a glass of something and watch the world go by.

Bearslake Inn sits between Okehampton and Tavistock on the A386, which makes it an ideal place to stay if you’re looking to explore the delights of Dartmoor and Devon. Corn Ridge, Sourton Tor and Great Links Tor are also within easy distance.

Yorkshire Dales

The Plough, Wigglesworth

Nestled in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, The Plough is a stylish country inn with 10 boutique bedrooms. The pub is situated in Wigglesworth, a village situated in lower Ribblesdale with just 150 households gathered around the main street. The Masons Arms, Grange Over Sands

If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, The Masons Arms is the perfect country retreat. Situated in the blissful countryside of the Lake District, many of the bedrooms overlook picturesque views of the rolling hills and woods.

The pub has five boutique style bedrooms and two holiday cottages which sleep up to six people.

South Downs

The Crown Inn, Dial Post

Overlooking the village green, The Crown Inn is an award-winning family run West Sussex pub. The village inn has four dog-friendly bedrooms and is known for its homecooked food and welcoming atmosphere.

The Crown Inn is perfectly situated to enjoy the many excellent walks over the surrounding West Sussex countryside, particularly on the neighbouring Knepp Castle Estate, known for its re-wilding project.

The Cat Inn, West Hoathly

Situated in the picturesque village of West Hoathly, The Cat Inn is a 16th century village inn with four bedrooms, some of which are dog-friendly.
