Visit Southern Snowdonia

Snowdonia does not just feature in the far north it also spans east and southwards all the way down to Machynlleth. The southern region of Snowdonia does not have the characteristic rocky mountains of the north but are still impressive in their own rights. One of the best places to enjoy the wonders of southern Snowdonia is Bala, a small town famous for white water canoeing, swimming, cycling and triathlons.
