A warm welcome awaits you at the White Lion. With its original oak beams, inglenook fireplace and cobbled forecourt, they still retain their long history as a traditional coaching inn. The bar doubles as the hotel’s reception area. They like to have an emphasis on relaxed informality at the White Lion. The staff will meet you at the bar, guide you through registration and show you to your room. If you need help with your luggage, they will be happy to assist.
Breakfast is served daily and they offer food all day until 9pm. You can relax in the informal atmosphere of the bar or alternatively enjoy the quieter surroundings of the restaurant. From the kitchen, they offer a wide range of dishes with a special emphasis on fresh, local produce, such as locally-farmed beef and lamb. The menu, which also includes a choice of vegetarian meals, is supplemented by daily specials.
