Visit Brecon Beacons

The Brecon Beacon National Park is a fantastic place for an adventure holiday, with superb places for walking, mountain biking and horse riding.  Explore caves, forests and the historic canal whilst taking in the stunning views when you visit Brecon Beacons.

Lose your head in the clouds as you climb Pen y Fan and Corn Du, the two highest peaks in southern Britain. There are a number of fantastic walks around the Beacons, whether it is ambling along a canal path, exploring a woodland forest or hiking up a mountain.

Watersport lovers are spoilt for choice in the Beacons, as there is an array of options for various watersports.  Everything from canoeing down canals and reservoirs, to extreme kayaking and windsurfing on Llangorse Lake. Alternatively, if you just want to enjoy a leisurely boat trip along the canal you can book a narrowboat cruise for a couple of hours from Brecon Basin during the summer months.

There are lots of activities for families in when you visit Brecon Beacons, both inside and outdoors. The Cantref Adventure Park is a children’s adventure farm park set in the Breacon Beacons National Park. There is a large heated indoor play area which is also adult friendly, allowing parents to play with their children but also sit back and relax with a hot drink and a piece of cake. Outside visitors can admire the animals or watch live shows throughout the day. The shows include Bottle Feeding the Lambs and fantastic Pig Racing.
