The pub serves delicious, refined pub classics, local seafood, seasonal specials, a cracking Sunday roast, and interesting choices for guests with dietary requirements. Guests can eat formally in their restaurant, casually at the bar, or al fresco in the popular beer garden on warm summer days.
The bar is well-stocked with a brilliant array of beers, lagers, ciders, artisan spirits, cocktails, mixers, and soft drinks. There is also a carefully considered wine list, which compliments their menus.
The Pilot Inn has four beautifully decorated en-suite double bedrooms, one of which has an indulgent in-house copper bathtub. Each room comes with comfortable beds, soft cushions, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries, bedside lights, heavy curtains to help you to sleep, tea & coffee making facilities, mineral water, a hairdryer, satellite TV, and WiFi access.
The bar and beer garden are dog friendly, however dogs are not permitted to stay in their rooms.
Breakfast is served daily and is available to order as an additional supplement, and there is a small car park.
Meads is a delightful seaside village between Eastbourne town centre and Beachy Head. The town centre is a short drive away, and has a wealth of theatres, art galleries, shops, and the famous pier.
There is an abundance of walking trails from the seafront to Seven Sisters, and the prestigious Royal Eastbourne Golf Club is close by.
