Characterised by deep wooded valleys or “combes”, open heath land and rich flora and fauna, the Quantocks are ideal for walking, cycling and horseriding. Such is their special quality, that this area was the first in the country to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956.
Homely, relaxed with a little bit of fabulousness thrown in. The menus change regularly with the seasons or what the team feel like experimenting with. They are open for lunch, dinner and Sunday roasts. Children are always welcome and the bar/snug areas are dog friendly. Sunday lunch – They cherish a good family meal and Sunday roasts are just that. Enjoy a selection of roast meats with all the trimmings.
All the bedrooms are en-suite and fitted with telephones, flat screen TV, hairdryers, kettle with tea and coffee making facilities, wardrobe, dressing table, bedside cabinets and lamps. They even supply a set of ear plugs just in case the noise from the pub below is apparent should you decide on an earlier night so as not to disturb your good night’s sleep induced by their wonderful Hypnos beds! They offer a range of double and twin bedrooms.
