Southwold Beach

With its blend of sand and shingle, Southwold beach is an important part of Suffolk’s coastal appeal. Southwold Pier is one of the most iconic attractions in the seaside town, standing at 800 foot (250m) long. Despite being subject to a battering of storms over the years, the pier has been refurbished and is now home to a pavilion, restaurant and amusements, as well as the famous water clock. Alongside the pier, colourful beach huts add to the quintessential British seaside charm. Southwold is ideal for activities such as kite flying, windsurfing, surfing and wild swimming.

Dunwich Beach
