The wine list focuses on European producers alongside a smattering from the new world, whilst their eclectic choice of beers is dominated by British breweries, such as the Five points Brewing Co who produce their house pale ale “So solid Brew”. The bar also serves artisan spirits, cocktails, mixers, and good non-alcoholic options.
Outside, there are a handful of tables, for sociable al fresco drinks on warm, sunny days.
The Bull & Last has seven king size en-suite bedrooms spread across the top two floors of the pub. Each air-conditioned room comes with complimentary Woodsome skin care, a Roberts radio, TV, Nespresso coffee machine, PIN lock drawer safe, mini bar, and WiFi access.
There are no family rooms, however three rooms named Dido, Faraday, and Mansfield can fit a cot on request for a nominal additional nightly fee.
The pub serves a signature breakfast tray to the rooms every Wednesday-Sunday at a separate cost. Please pre-order with the pub after booking your room via e mail.
Parking is restricted on Woodsome Road on weekdays, but the road does have a convenient EV charging point.
Hampstead Heath is a beautiful green space spanning close to 800 acres. The ancient heath adjoins the former stately home of Kenwood House, and has embracing swimming ponds, tennis and pétanque courts, a lido, woodlands, and a running track.
Highgate sits in the north eastern corner of Hampstead Heath and is renowned for its wonderful architecture, culture, and splendid choice of eateries.
