The pub has six comfortable en-suite bedrooms set back from the main pub building.
There are four king size double bedrooms (one twin on request) and two larger studio bedrooms with a kitchenette, lounge area, and private outdoor space. There is a minimum two night stay in their studio bedrooms.
Beautifully decorated, each room comes with a private entrance, down duvets and pillows, fine cotton sheets, a digital radio, tea & coffee making facilities, fresh milk, and WiFi access.
Family friendly? Yes, two of the double rooms (including the room which can be set up as a twin) have an adjoining door. The studio bedrooms also have an additional sofa bed.
Dog friendly? Yes, dogs are welcome on request directly with the pub. There is a nominal additional fee per stay.
There is ample parking for overnight guests. The car park has electricity with a 13 amp plug enabling guests with electric vehicles to re-charge. (Guests own adaptors are required).
Location near Chedington
Chedington is situated near the A356 road, four miles south east of the Somerset town of Crewkerne. The nearby town has a railway station with trains from London Waterloo taking two and a half hours.
The picturesque town of Beaminster is a ten-minute drive south. Conde Nast described Beaminster as one of the best places to enjoy a staycation in the UK without crowds.
12 miles from the coast, the pub commands one of the finest views in the West Country.
The pub is a fantastic base from which to explore the Jurassic Coast, pre-historic hillfort at Eggardon Hill, Thomas Hardy Trail, Lyme Regis, and West Bay.
