Hexham is a thriving market town, only a few minutes drive from the lovely Northumbrian countryside and attractions such as Hadrian’s Wall. It provides an excellent base for any visitor to the North of England with easy access to towns and cities such as Carlisle, Newcastle, Gateshead and Durham. Or if you prefer to escape to the wide open spaces, they have some great walking, excellent cycling, superb fishing and lots of great things to do and see.
The Station Inn serves food and drink in their cosy, traditional licensed bar. Delicious, traditional pub fayre is served Monday to Saturday, with breakfast starting at 7am, and meals being served until late. The pub is perfect to visit on a Sunday, where they serve up a selection of traditional Sunday roasts. A wide selection of drinks are also served, including traditional real ales.
