Dating back to the 10th century, The Porch House is split into two parts. On one side is a traditional, whitewashed building which houses a stylish restaurant, whilst on the other is a cosy pub, full of twisted beams, toasty open fireplaces, and an elegant, light filled pavilion extension.
The pub is renowned for its delicious food, and their menus feature authentic pub classics, refined dishes, indulgent puddings, a cracking Sunday roast, and interesting choices for guests with dietary requirements.
The bar is well-stocked with a carefully curated range of beers, ales, aromatic gins, bold bourbons, smooth whiskies, rambunctious rums, cocktails, and wines from across the globe.
Outside, their garden terrace is a delightful spot from which to enjoy al fresco drinking and dining.
The Porch House has 13 en-suite bedrooms each perfectly blending modern style with historical features such as cosseted beamed ceilings, and stone walls.
There are four room types: cosy, classic, superior, and a suite. Each room comes with sumptuous Feather & Black beds, complimentary toiletries, a Nespresso coffee machine, TV, and WiFi access.
Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub.
Breakfast is a real treat and includes a full English, pancakes, or healthier options such as avocado on sourdough toast.
Stow-on-the-Wold is an idyllic Cotswold town surrounded by panoramic walking trails, four miles from Bourton-on-the-Water.
