Since the late 1500’s the Old Ferry Inn has enjoyed spectacular views over Fowey, the river and out to the English Channel.
Their dining room has glorious views and there is also a bar lounge where you can relax, grab a pint and enjoy a game of cards or a board game.
Their delicious grazing and evening menus are created using the very best local and seasonal ingredients. Alongside their Cornish Ales and craft ales, the bar serves a superb wine list, and they distill their own gins and vodka as well as making their own rum and tequila.
Eight of their bedrooms have glorious river views and there are a good choice of king size double rooms, twins and junior suites. Each bedroom comes with the finest goose feather and down bedding, Egyptian cotton linen, high count fluffy towels, a TV, tea & coffee making facilities, WiFi access and Bramley toiletries.
Dogs are welcome on request and with prior acknowledgement with the pub.
They are situated on the famous Hall walk, a two to three hour round trip, crossing the river twice and taking in Bodinnick, Pont Pil, Polruan and Fowey itself. Boddinick lies to the east of the river, hugging the water’s edge and is the landing point for the car ferry from Fowey.
