Their award-winning restaurant has the feel and atmosphere of a traditional British country pub with a Gallic twist. They source their seasonal ingredients from their own acclaimed farm and the fields, forests, lochs and rivers nearby. Their delicious menus feature pub classics and more adventurous daily specials, often showcasing game, venison, wild produce and seafood.
Their wines are selected from all over the world, and include interesting clarets, their very own house wine and some eclectic choices from the New World and Italy and Spain.
The Meikleour Arms has 11 bedrooms which exude comfort and elegant simplicity, and comprise of standard kings, superior kings and superior double/twin rooms.
Each room comes with marble bathrooms, crisp linen, hypoallergenic bedding, a TV, luxurious toiletries, tea & coffee making facilities and a sherry decanter.
Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub.
Their cottages are a short drive or walk from the main hotel, and nestled along the old Victorian walled garden of the stately Meikleour House. They are bright and contemporary with quirky original features, and are fully equipped for sporting parties, families or couples with pets.
Meikleour lies near the confluence of the Tay and the Isla in the valley of Strathmore, about 12 miles north of Perth and four miles south of Blairgowrie.
