The atmosphere is friendly and informal, their aim is to make guests feel comfortable and at home whilst enjoying their selection of drinks and local real ales and seasonal freshly cooked food which is prepared using only the best local ingredients and served in the restaurant and lounge bar.
Food and drink are central to the Lion, they pride themselves on locally sourced food. The team of chefs have spent a lot of time and effort sourcing local producers of quality, fresh ingredients to ensure that the meals they serve are of the highest quality. Their AA rosette awarded restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide and has been recognised with a bronze award in the Gourmet category of the Flavours of Herefordshire awards.
They have 8 beautiful en-suite bedrooms available for guests, each individually furnished and designed to provide stylish comfort. The rooms all have internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryers, beautiful high quality bed linen and complimentary homemade shortbread. One of the rooms is a twin and has room for a child’s bed or cot, one is single, and the other six are double rooms. Breakfast is included in the price.
