This fabulous 15th century coaching Inn is run by a team who are passionate about good food and good service. They are open every day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks.
The pub’s rambling old timber and stone building has original fireplaces lit every day between October and April, whilst the splendid medieval courtyard garden is perfect for a peaceful moment away from the hustle and bustle of the High Street during warmer months.
They aim to offer the best local food representing the area and serve great combinations of simple pub fayre such as pie of the day, fresh fish and chips and some excellent steaks, coupled with some more refined dishes. Their delicious full English breakfast, Sunday roasts and homemade desserts are particularly popular with guests.
On tap you willl find ales from Hook Norton Brewery with the majority of ciders and lagers being supplied by Cotswold Brewing Co, all made within a 15 mile radius. Alongside this there are a good range of interesting boutique gins, wines, vodkas and malts.
Each bedroom comes with a whole host of little luxuries including premium toiletries, a mini bar, fresh milk, complimentary bottles of water, tea and coffee making facilities (Nespresso machines in four poster rooms) and WiFi access. They also have three dog friendly bedrooms.
