Their new interiors are inspired by the towns maritime charm, and have an eclectic mix of travel ephemera adorning the walls.
The Globe serves a modern British menu, with dishes changing with the seasons and using the very best local produce. Vegan and gluten free dishes sit alongside hearty Sunday roasts and fresh seafood all contributing to the great diversity and seasonality of East Anglia.
Their bar serves a considered drinks list, which includes an eclectic wine list, real ales, local gins and bubbles for a celebration. Outside there is a pretty courtyard garden, which is the perfect spot from which to enjoy your favourite drink when the sun is shining.
Their 19 bedrooms are situated either in the pub or around their atmospheric terrace garden, and comprise of several room types called Best, Better, Good, Family and Bolthole which is perfect for the solo traveller.
Dog friendly bedrooms can be booked for a nominal additional surcharge and prior acknowledgement, and one of their Better rooms is fully accessible.
There is no private parking at the pub, however there is ample parking by the green opposite.
Wells-next-the-Sea is located between Holkham beach and the bird sanctuary at Blakeney Point, and is surrounded by independent shops, restaurants, historical houses and sandy beaches.
