Seafood is a speciality at The Fortescue Inn so expect to see fish and chips, chowder, crab and lobster on their seasonal menus and they also have their own pizza oven. Their wine list has an eclectic mix to choose from and their gin list is both long and varied. Enjoy drinks in their pretty beer garden and sip on a Salcombe Gin and tonic. Heaven!
Breakfast is included in your stay and includes a choice of full English, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast, pastries, cereal and yoghurt.
Their stylish bedrooms have whitewashed walls which give a sense of space, drawing focus to exposed wooden beams. Each of their six bedrooms come with a whole host of luxuries including kingsize handmade Vispring beds, soundproof double glazed and shuttered windows, luxurious en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, WiFi access, an ironing board, iron and laptop safe.

The Fortescue Inn is the hub of the town where the locals gather at the bar, and old photos of Salcombe’s lifeboat crew and fishermen hang on the walls. Situated in the centre of town, by the lifeboat station, beautiful beaches and ferries across the estuary are within easy walking distance.
