Their bar is warm, friendly and inviting and serves an eclectic and innovative range of drinks, including local beers, hand pulled ales, fine wines and champagnes.
Their menus are created using the freshest, seasonal ingredients, locally grown, and including produce from their own kitchen garden. Their Sunday lunch is very popular, they cater well for children and those with dietary requirements, and the tiered terrace is a picturesque spot from which to enjoy al fresco drinking and dining.
The Carpenter Arms has eight beautiful Garden suites, arranged around a landscaped exterior with stunning views, and a private terrace. Each suite comes with Hypnos super king size beds, (which can be divided into two spacious singles), a fire, TV, Nespresso coffee machine, WiFi access and mini bar.
Each suite is fitted with individual drying wardrobes for wet days and well behaved dogs are welcomed in these rooms with prior arrangement. The Kildale suite has disabled access and the sofa beds in each suite are Hypnos too, making them ideal for families.
Two further House rooms are located within the main building, on the first floor and come with Hypnos king size beds, spacious en-suite bathrooms, a TV, mini bar, WiFi access and tea and Nespresso coffee making facilities. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement in these rooms too.
