The pub serves delicious, seasonal menus from breakfast, supper to everything in between.
Their menu has a range of mouthwatering options including grazing & sharing plates, seasonal & classic mains, light & healthy options, afternoon tea, artisan sandwiches and yummy puddings. Their Sunday lunch is very popular and there are also interesting choices for children and guests with dietary requirements.
During the winter months fires are lit, and on warm summer days you can enjoy al fresco drinking on the sun terrace. The bar is well stocked with an abundance of drinks including real ales, premium lagers, cask ciders, cocktails, an eclectic wine list and a good selection of gins, whiskeys and soft drinks.
The Golden Lion has a great range of bedrooms comprising of deluxe doubles, superior family rooms, superior double rooms and classic single, double and twin rooms.
