Ravaged by fire in the 17th Century and subsequently rebuilt this wonderful, historic building has quaint rooms linked by narrow passages which are full of character.
At this pub you will enjoy modern British pub food, with uncomplicated combinations and clean flavours, constructed from fresh, local ingredients. With one of the best views of the Minster, their beer garden is a true delight. Enjoy the view on a perfect, warm summer’s day or take a seat under the heat lamps in the winter. They serve food all year round and dogs are welcome to join you (although not in their bedrooms).
Each of their twelve recently refurbished en-suite bedrooms reflect their four star AA rating and come with a whole host of little luxuries including complimentary H2K toiletries.
