Hort’s champion the very best British seasonal produce, to create memorable breakfasts, snacks and light bites, a traditional afternoon tea with bubbly and nostalgic pub classics with a focus on fresh fish. They serve a scrumptious Sunday roast, yummy puddings and good options too for guests with dietary requirements.
Their bar is well-stocked with an array of delicious drinks including Young’s cask beers, bottled and keg beers, artisan spirits, an eclectic wine list and interesting soft drink choices. Hort’s was the first place in Bristol to start mixing cocktails, and their cocktail list includes some absolute classics such as Passionfruit Martini and Negroni as well as many signature cocktails.
No two bedrooms at Hort’s are the same, but each and every beautifully designed bolthole comes with smart in-room tech, British-made toiletries and many memorable touches. Their bedrooms comprise of cosy rooms perfect for the solo traveller, boutique double and twin rooms, bigger boutique rooms and The Loft which is tucked away from the rest of their rooms and has its own stairway and freestanding bathtub.
Some rooms can be booked together to create a secret hideaway if you are staying with a group, all have space for a cot and some have an additional single sofa bed for families. Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub.
Bristol Temple Meads train station is a short cab journey away. Due to their central location they do not have their own car park, however NCP Bristol Nelson Street is nearby.
The pub is perfectly situated just a short stroll from Bristol’s harbour side, Cabot Circus shopping centre, and an abundance of bars and restaurants.
