The Chequers Inn

The Chequers Inn is a traditional rural pub surrounded by panoramic walking trails. They are situated in the pretty village of Rookley, near to the centre of the island and just a few miles south of Newport. They have three comfortable en-suite bedrooms, and welcome motor homes at their allocated pitches. The closest beach to Rookley is Shanklin, about five miles east of the village.
