Over the years Bay Horse Inn have become synonymous for their cooking and indeed the food they prepare and serve is, in their eyes, the true meaning of their existence. All produce used is, where possible, local where they try and arrange simple dishes alongside the more adventurous and imaginative ones. The Aberdeen Angus steaks have become a popular feature.
In the bar, lunch is served daily and in the evening, everything from the selection of breads offered at the beginning to the chocolate truffles at the close, are prepared in the kitchen. To compliment the food, they offer a unique selection of wines from around the world, which offer, in their opinion, a perfect marriage with the cooking. They have around 100 wines on the list as well as a good selection of malt whiskies, ports and spirits.
There are nine en-suite bedrooms available at Bay Horse Inn, six of these have French windows out on to a terrace, giving the full panoramic view over the estuary. Each room is individually decorated and furnished and contains masses of magazines, books and board games, along with all the facilities one would expect to provide a ‘home from home’. All the bedrooms are fitted with WiFi access, LCD Freeview TV’s, fresh towels and linen, tea and coffee making facilities, alarm clock and telephone.
