This destination pub is situated in the secluded village of Llancarfan on the banks of a little brook. They have a large terraced area which is the perfect place to enjoy a chilled glass of wine or beer on a summer’s evening. In the winter, relax in a comfortable chair in their newly refurbished bar next to the roaring log burner.
Their menu has been created using fresh ingredients that are locally sourced whenever possible and lovingly prepared in house. They have a variety of dining areas from the snug, restaurant, covered terrace and recently refurbished beamed bar. They are very proud to have been awarded a rosette for their food, by the AA.They are also dog friendly and your four legged friends are welcome to join you when you dine with them in the beamed bar or on the covered terrace.
The refurbished “Harry’s Bar” is well stocked with a variety of drinks, including local ales and carefully selected wines and is also dog friendly. They are very proud to be the first pub in Wales to stock Glamorgan Brewing Company’s brand new Welsh Lager!
All of their bedrooms have en-suite facilities with complimentary Noble Isle toiletries and fluffy towels. Their beds have feather and down duvets, crisp white linen and there is a flat screen TV, free WiFi connection, waffle bathrobes, freshly ground coffee and tea making facilities together with homemade biscuits for you to enjoy. Your stay also includes a fabulous Welsh breakfast. They welcome dogs to stay in certain rooms with their owners, however please be aware that there is a charge of £10 per dog, per stay.
If you add dinner to your stay you will save on your room rate. Their dinner, bed and breakfast packages include an allowance of £20 per head towards dinner from their A la Carte menu.
