Much of the fruit, vegetables, herbs and salads is grown on site in the inn’s extensive kitchen gardens and polytunnels, bringing a genuine garden-to-plate element to the guest experience. The bar follows the same local and sustainable approach. There are handful of cask ales, including beers from local microbreweries, together with a carefully chosen range of organic, Fairtrade and biodynamic wines. When the weather is good, the walled beer garden is an inviting spot for a post-walk drink in the sunshine.
