Twice Brewed Inn is a welcoming country pub a stone’s throw from Hadrian’s Wall surrounded by the wild landscapes of the Northumberland National Park. Its location makes it a natural base for walkers and cyclists, but there is plenty to keep guests at the inn too, from its own brewery and tap room to stargazing experiences beneath some of England’s darkest skies. There are 23 comfortable guest rooms to choose from, including doubles, twins and family rooms. Twice Brewed Brewing Co. produces its own award-winning ales and lagers, with beers and spirits available in the pub and tap room beside the working brewery. After dark, the experience changes completely. The inn sits within the protected Northumberland International Dark Sky Park and hosts stargazing experiences led by astronomers from Kielder Observatory.

After a day walking Hadrian’s Wall, the 23 guest rooms at Twice Brewed Inn provide a comfortable place to rest and recharge. Accommodation includes en-suite doubles, twins and family rooms. For something a little different, there are also three Stargazer Cabin rooms beside the inn, between the brewhouse and planetarium. All three are dog friendly and look towards Hadrian’s Wall and Steel Rigg. Vega Cabin is mobility accessible, with wider doorways and a wet-room shower.

Food & Drink
Twice Brewed Inn serves hearty, home-cooked pub food made with seasonal produce sourced locally wherever possible. Guests can dine in the comfortable restaurant, take in the stunning country views from the conservatory, or enjoy their food in the beer garden on sunny days. Breakfast is served for overnight guests and traditional Sunday roasts are also a highlight. Walkers can order packed lunches in advance for days out on Hadrian’s Wall. Beer is particularly important here. The inn has its own Twice Brewed Brewing Co. brewery and tap room, producing award-winning ales and lagers using water from its own well. Guests can sample the beers beside the brewery, with the tap room’s glass wall offering a view into the brewing operation. The brewery also produces its own spirits, including gin and rum.
