The Brecon Beacon National Park is a fantastic place for an adventure holiday, with superb places for walking, mountain biking and horse riding taking in the stunning views across the National Park. Explore caves, forest and the historic canal whilst venturing into the charming towns to experience local pubs and farmers markets offering the best food and drink the region has to offer.

Lose your head in the clouds as you climb Pen y Fan and Corn Du, the two highest peaks in southern Britain. Discover wild walks and breathtaking scenery in the dramatic and remote heart of the Brecon Beacons.

Watersport lovers are spoilt for choice in the Beacons, as there is an array of options for various watersports.  Everything from canoeing down canals and reservoirs to extreme kayaking and windsurfing on Llangorse Lake. Alternatively, if you just want to enjoy a leisurely boat trip along the canal you can book a narrowboat cruise for a couple of hours from Brecon Basin during the summer months.

There are lots of activities for families in the Brecon Beacons, both inside and outdoors. The Cantref Adventure Park is a children’s adventure farm park set in the Breacon Beacons National Park. There is a large heated indoor play area which is also adult friendly, allowing parents to play with their children but also sit back and relax with a hot drink and a piece of cake. Outside visitors can admire the animals or watch live shows throughout the day. The shows include Bottle Feeding the Lambs and fantastic Pig Racing.
