Family Attractions in Aberdeenshire
If you are visiting with family and have youngsters to keep entertained, there are plenty of activities and events all year round to choose from. Doonies Farm is great outdoor fun. A rare breeds farm covering 134 acres on the southern side of Aberdeen from Nigg Bay to Cove, easy to get to, being only 15 mins away from the centre of Aberdeen.
On the coast, Aberdeenshire is one of the best places in the UK to catch sight of dolphins, and fresh salmon and trout are both local specialities. There are nature reserves, ancient castles, parklands and riverside attractions to explore as a family
