There is a pleasingly straightforward philosophy behind the food at the Crown & Garter: cook with the seasons, support local suppliers and make the most of good British ingredients. The result is a menu that feels right at home in a country pub, combining familiar favourites with dishes that change as different produce comes into season. There is a set lunch during the week, while Sundays bring the opportunity to settle in for a proper roast. Breakfast is served each morning and if you are not ready to head out afterwards, the Honesty coffee shop and bakery serves coffee, cake and lighter food throughout the day.
