The Plough is owned by Adnams, a multi-award-winning brewer, who craft well-loved premium beers and spirits, and who collaborate with wonderful producers to bring you the best wines in the world.
Their menu is created from local and seasonal produce and sample menus can be viewed above the food gallery. They serve generous pub classics, so expect dishes such as traditional fish and chips, Ploughman’s, and seasonal burgers. Outside, there is a large garden and children’s play area.
Their bar is well-stocked with a wonderful array of Adnams drinks including cask beers, kegged beers & ciders, bottled beers, spirits, an eclectic wine list, mixers, and hot brews.
Their five ground floor en-suite bedrooms comprise of one double, one twin, one family and two family plus rooms, all with courtyard views. Each room comes with comfortable beds, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, and WiFi access.
Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub. Each room can also accommodate an extra bed and their twin room have two beds, a wet room, larger doorways and grab rails in the bathroom.
Breakfast is a real treat and there is ample parking for guests staying overnight.
The village of Wangford sits on the edge of the rich and varied landscape of the Suffolk Coast. The breathtaking countryside on their doorstep is a haven for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, nature enthusiasts and golfers.
