You are always assured of a warm welcome on visiting ‘The Plough’. They invite you to drop in and enjoy a local ale or a glass of wine in the cosy bar with a choice of two log burners and one real fire to burn away the winter blues. If you are looking for outside seating they have two other areas which are also popular; the courtyard, which is a favourite on those summers evening, or the beer garden, ideally situated on the grassy area below the sun terrace, adjacent to Highlow Brook where you can listen to the sounds of the running water.
The team of chefs take great pride in their seasonal menu changes. All the food is cooked in house, fresh and cooked to order.
The inn offers seven double rooms and three shepherd huts. All of the rooms are fitted with an en-suite bathroom, Freeview TV, desk, hairdryer, ironing facilities, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, fresh towels and linen and WiFi access. A delicious breakfast is also available in the morning. Dogs are permitted in the room, there is an additional charge and this can be arranged when you book.
