This wonderful pub really does have it all, from beautiful, eclectic, rustic-chic decor to roaring log fires and a panoramic garden with gorgeous countryside views across Dove Valley to Worthy Island Wood.
The Duncombe Arms serves a mix of classic pub dishes, together with more adventurous, modern British food, using the finest local, seasonal produce. They are named amongst the best dining pubs in the country and are recognised by The Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand, The Good Pub Guide and Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastro Pubs.
As well as a hugely popular dining destination, they are also a well loved pub serving an impressive selection of drinks; including a 200 strong wine list, their very own Duncombe Ale, at least one guest ale, lagers, ciders, malt whiskies, old fashioned gins, soft drinks and juices.
Walnut House is their home away from home, with ten luxurious bedrooms adjacent to the pub. This property has two family rooms, each with a sofa bed, shower and bath; four large double rooms with showers, and four large doubles with baths and showers.
Each bedroom has sumptuous armchairs, Egyptian cotton linen, towelling robes, WiFi access, a Smart TV, Nespresso machine, writing desk, Roberts Radio, sparkling and still water and homemade biscuits from the kitchen, whilst their spacious en-suite bathrooms are stocked with handmade toiletries.
