The Cornish Arms is so called as it was the last Coaching Inn before Cornwall.
They serve great tasting dishes with little fuss, classic combinations and lots of flavour, using the finest local and seasonal produce. They cater well for guests with dietary requirements, and there is a dedicated vegan and children’s menu. Complimenting their delicious food is a well-considered wine list and an eclectic drinks choice.
Food is served in the main restaurant area, the bar and in the lovely covered beer garden, which has heaters for cooler evenings.

Tavistock has a multitude of interesting independent shops and places to eat and drink. The closest beach is Seaton which is in Downderry, about 17 miles away.
