Step inside this charismatic country pub and you will find wonky walls, open fires and lots of cosy and inviting corners. There is a main bar, snug, restaurant, heated stretch tent and a pretty garden overlooking a Saxon castle, which is the picture perfect spot from which to socialise and enjoy al fresco drinks and delicious food in the sunshine.
Their menu features pub classics, British favourites and interesting choices for guests with dietary requirements. Their Sunday lunch is immensely popular and they are passionate about sourcing the very best local and seasonal West Country ingredients.
The well-stocked traditional bar serves an eclectic range of local ales, quality lagers and a considered wine list featuring both Old and New World wines.
The Castle Inn has nine bedrooms above the pub and a further four in their pretty cottage opposite. All of their double and twin rooms, some of which have views of Dartmoor are en-suite and beautifully styled and decorated.
