Spread across the first and second floors of this historic listed building, the accommodation ranges from a snug single and twin to doubles and beautifully styled larger rooms with romantic touches. Calming neutral colours and crisp white linen create an inviting place to retreat to, while the quirks of the old coaching inn ensure the rooms don’t feel like they have come off a hotel production line. Thoughtful details include organic Bramley toiletries, tea and coffee-making facilities and Roberts radios. Dogs are welcome on request, with prior acknowledgement.

The bar serves Wadworth 6X and Horizon as its regular cask ales, giving guests the chance to enjoy locally brewed beer just a short distance from where it is made.
