The Woodman Inn is part of Individual Inns, owned by Robinsons, one of the most respected names in British brewing and innkeeping. They operate one of the most advanced and sophisticated breweries in the UK with a global reputation for producing traditional real ale.
Step inside this warm and welcoming country pub and you will find open fires, award-winning real ales, and delicious, refined pub food. Their a ’la carte menu is served daily, and features pub classics with a modern twist. There are also daily specials and interesting choices for guests with dietary requirements and children. Their bar is well-stocked with an excellent selection of local ales, including Barncliffe Bitter, which is brewed just over a mile away at Barncliffe Mill and an interesting choice of fine wines.
The Woodman Inn has 22 en-suite bedrooms comprising of double rooms, superior and deluxe suites, executive suites, and a honeymoon suite which is located in a former weavers’ cottage next to the Inn.
Each en-suite room comes with a super comfortable mattress, crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen, boutique toiletries, a desk, hairdryer, and WiFi access.
Dogs are welcome on request, as are additional Z-beds with prior acknowledgement directly with the pub.
A delicious breakfast is served every morning, and there is ample parking for guests staying overnight.
They are also fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies, and for your special day, you will have exclusive use of their intimate wedding venue and beautiful gardens.
The immediate area is a walker’s dream, with many marked trails nearby, including the Pennine Way, the Colne Valley Circular Walk, the Holme Valley Circular Walk, the Bronte Way, and the Spen Valley Heritage Trail.
