One of the finest dining pubs in Southampton, The White Star Tavern serves beautiful British food, all of which can be enjoyed in the lovely dining room or in the relaxed and informal bar area.
Crafted from seasonal, locally sourced Hampshire produce, The White Star has pub classics and elegant modern creations on the menus as well as light bites and sandwiches. With an array of daily changing signature dishes, you’ll find new and exciting dishes on every visit.
At the bar, there’s five much-loved Fuller’s cask-conditioned ales and beers on tap, renowned for their well-balanced, distinctive flavours. They also have 70 handpicked wines and a selection of sherries, ports and sparkling wines on offer, as well as ciders, premium spirits and soft drinks.
In a nod to the area’s nautical history, the 13 stunning bedrooms are ship-themed. Whether you choose one of the Lower Deck, Upper Deck or Middle Deck rooms, each one is named after a ship from the White Star Lines fleet. Emulating elements of the Titanic’s original grandeur throughout, each room includes comfortable double beds and luxurious monsoon shower rooms, along with flat screen TVs and complimentary, fully-stocked mini bars.
Located in the heart of the city, The White Star Tavern is surrounded by art and culture, maritime heritage and is ideally situated near the Southampton Cruise Terminal. Sea City Museum is a 20-minute walk, while The Mayflower Theatre is less than one mile from the pub.
