Telegraph Travel wrote: “A £4 million investment by Heartwood Inns has transformed this characterful 13th-century coaching inn into a stylish hotel where original oak beams blend harmoniously with luxurious furnishings, contemporary design and top-notch cuisine. A doggy bath with hot water for muddy paws and a charming stick library will ensure that your pet is pampered too.” Expert rating 8/10
