Dating back to the 10th century, The Porch House is a historic inn split into the two stylish parts. On one side is a traditional, whitewashed building that houses a stylish and formal restaurant, whilst on the other is a cosy, low-ceilinged pub, full of twisted beams and featuring a toasty open fireplace, as well as an elegant, light filled pavilion extension.
The Porch House is renowned as one of finest places to eat locally, serving traditional British pub cuisine with sophisticated twists. Offering a rustic-yet-refined menu, their expert chefs combine the freshest locally sourced ingredients to deliver a delicious selection of mouth-watering dishes that incorporate vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
They also serve an eclectic drinks choice which includes gins, spirits, liqueurs, an exceptional wine list alongside craft lagers, bottled beers and ciders.
All of their 13 unique and charming bedrooms are brimming with classic country charisma. There are four room types to choose from; Quaint Cosy rooms, dashing Classics, sensational Superiors and the best lodging in the house, The Suite. For a nominal, additional fee dogs are welcome in two of their comfortable dog friendly bedrooms.
