The Poltimore Inn is a pub with a great reputation locally for their great home cooked food. They are recent winners of the Taste of the West Gold Award, “Best Dining Experience, Family Dining” from the North Devon Business Awards. As much food as possible is locally sourced and their menus change with the seasons. They also serve a good selection of beers including locally produced Exmoor Ale and Otter Ale, as well as Wicked Wolf Exmoor Gin.
They offer a range of options when it comes to accommodation. There are four bedrooms within the pub itself including a family room. These rooms all have an en-suite bathroom, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. In the grounds below the pub, there are also four new lodges each offering two en-suite bedrooms. Their lodges have their own entrances and can be booked separately or together. Dogs are welcome in some of the rooms and they serve a delicious breakfast.
They are just a 45 minute drive away from the famous surfing beaches along the North Devon coast.
