The Percy Arms is a characterful country pub near the Cheviots and Northumberland coast in the pretty village of Chatton. Once the Duke of Northumberland’s 19th century hunting lodge, it combines the warmth of a traditional village inn with a more polished country-house feel – think roaring fires, relaxed dining, a welcoming bar and beautiful rural scenery waiting outside. The pub has five individually styled en-suite bedrooms, each with its own country-cottage character and a generous bed. Location is another highlight. Chillingham Castle is around two miles away, the walking country around the Cheviots and College Valley is easily accessible, and the spectacular Northumberland coast can be reached in around 15 minutes by car.
