The Mortal Man Inn also offers accommodation; it is the perfect choice for fell walkers, thanks to its stunning location, comfortable beds, and the fact that each room has its own private en suite facilities, offering hot baths or showers for those aching leg muscles.
The rooms all enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. All of our bedrooms are of a good size and are simply, but tastefully decorated: We have twin rooms, king rooms (pictured), double rooms and a four poster room (pictured) which has double aspect views of the valley.
Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and a Television. Some of our rooms are pet friendly. There is a £10 per night charge for your pet staying. Please advise us on booking.
Food & Drink
We offer a menu with all the classic dishes you would expect to find in a traditional English pub. Our chef also creates some interesting and delicious culinary additions on a daily basis, which you will find described on our specials menu board.
Food is served in the bar, the garden room and the garden itself. All the food is lovingly prepared, using where possible local produce.
The Garden
We have a stunning beer garden, which has been acclaimed as being one of the best in the whole country. Sitting out on a warm, sunny day, soaking in the surrounding scenery, can only be described as ‘heavenly’.

In this beautiful room you can sit and enjoy the stunning scenery in comfort and warmth, again there is a log fire to cosy up to if need be and food is served for breakfast lunch and dinner. Panoramic views of the valley and peaceful quiet await you in this lounge like area.
