The Holcombe Inn serve delicious, seasonal contemporary dishes. They grow their own produce in their kitchen gardens and poly tunnels, and use local suppliers and artisan producers.
The inviting dining room is a gorgeous space, with a double sided log burner in the heart of the room separating the bar from the dining area. Their friendly and inviting bar, has a great range of local craft beers, ales, ciders, lagers and an eclectic wine list too.
Set on the top of the Mendips there is also a delighful garden and terrace which overlooks Downside Abbey and the surrounding panoramic countryside.
There are eight House bedrooms to choose from, each of which beautifully combines rural chic with modern touches. Each bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom, luxurious toiletries, goose down duvets & pillows, a TV, tea & coffee making facilities and WiFi access.
The Holcombe Inn also has three lodges set in the grounds, with their own terraces, views over the fields and their own little garden. Two of their lodges are dog friendly and have their own parking space.
This wonderful country pub is the perfect hideaway south of Bath. They are ideally situated and the perfect base from which to explore Somerset’s finest landmarks including Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Longleat, Bath and Bristol.
