The Helyar Arms pride themselves on the warm welcome their guests receive, the great food and drinks they serve and the cosy atmosphere they provide. They serve a wide selection of ciders, including cloudy, sweet, dry or even flavoured bottled ciders and if you like real ales, they always try and have a good selection. They also have an extensive but comprehensive collection of wines from predominantly Old World grapes, but with a spattering of wines from the New World.
Their cooking team provide guests with a delicious menu offering pub favourites as well as fine dining dishes. The Helyar Arms use local farmers and suppliers wherever possible, and their food is seasonal resulting in a menu that changes often.
Their comfortable and homely bedrooms all have en-suite shower rooms, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TVs and free WiFi. Please note breakfast is available at an additional charge, there is a surcharge for treble occupancy and for dogs who are most welcome.
This lovely pub has a large sunny garden to sit in during the summer months and there is ample parking.
Set in the picturesque village of East Coker, this charming 15th century inn provides the ideal base from which to explore the Heritage South Coast, including Dorchester, Glastonbury and Bath.
