Whether you choose to settle in a cosy corner or upon one of their quirky, but supremely comfortable bar stools, handmade from old whisky barrels, the inviting bar inspires relaxation.
Their eight gorgeous en-suite bedrooms are housed in Cowdray Barns, the inn’s former stable yard, where you can choose from three deluxe suites and five standard bedrooms. Alternatively if you are looking for something a little different, their shepherd’s hut makes for the perfect cosy staycation for two, offering a double bed, shower room, woodburner and kitchenette.
The Halfway Bridge also welcomes dogs and their are allocated bedrooms for pet friendly breaks. Dogs are also welcome in their shepherd’s hut, as they are in their bar.
Midhurst is home to the Cowdray Estate, Cowdray Ruins and international polo, whilst Petworth is the antique centre of southern England with it’s famous country house and deer park.
