Lovingly restored and completed in the summer of 2022, the George & Heart House has the feel of an old saloon, with stained glass windows, an open fireplace, and hanging Kentish hops. The bar is well-stocked with Kent wines and beers, cocktails, fresh juices, smoothies, and Margate made tea and filter coffee.
The restaurant serves an evolving seasonal menu with a focus on local Kent produce. Their menu features refined pub classics, sharing dishes, delicious options for guests with dietary requirements, indulgent desserts, and a roast on Sundays.
Each one of bedrooms at the George & Heart House has access to their private Stables courtyard garden. Upstairs, guests can enjoy Reggie’s Bar whilst helping themselves to complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, and a night tipple from the amnesty bar.
Their Zen Den is available for yoga and meditation when treatments are not in progress.
The pub is a stone’s throw from The Turner Contemporary, and close to an abundant mix of vintage shops, boutiques, popular bars, and restaurants.
